Silent Book Club offers a welcoming, low-pressure space for people to gather, read a book of their choice, and enjoy community without assigned reading or required discussion. 

Our daylong Youth Reading Retreats give young people dedicated time to read, create, and connect. Each retreat includes guided silent-reading sessions, art and writing activities, group discussion, meals, and opportunities for meaningful self-expression. 

Black Lit Fest is an annual celebration of Black literature, art, and community. The festival brings together authors, readers, artists, vendors, families, and community organizations for a vibrant weekend of literary and cultural experiences. Black Lit Fest is returning August 2027!!!

Love Letters Only is a creative writing lab that invites participants to reflect, connect, and express love through the written word.

Through our Mini Libraries initiative, we partner with organizations serving Black communities to provide bookshelves stocked with up to 50 books by Black authors, making culturally relevant literature easier to discover and access.

The Youth Reading Ambassador Summer Camp is a two-week experience that helps young people build confidence as readers, creative thinkers, and advocates for literacy. Participants explore a selected book through reading, art, documentaries, group activities, and guest-led experiences before presenting a final project at Black Lit Fest.
